What you will need for this Delicious Sourdough Fry Bread Recipe

Sourdough Starter

You can use either active sourdough starter or sourdough discard for this recipe. This recipe is the easiest way to use up sourdough discard.

Olive Oil

Use an organic good extra virgin olive oil if possible. You could also substitute with melted butter, vegetable oil, or coconut oil.

Salt

I use Redmond’s Real Salt, but any good quality sea salt will work just fine.

Baking Soda

The baking soda reacts with the acidity of the starter and makes it very bubbly.

Italian Seasoning

You can use other herbs if you prefer. I really enjoy Italian Seasoning in this sourdough fry bread.
