How to make Homemade Granola
Occasionally, we splurge and buy store bought cereal in the summer because it’s so refreshing. After buying a box or 2, I always start making our own granola to use as cereal. This homemade granola is just as good as store bought and a lot healthier!
Even though is seems convenient to grab a box of granola at the store, you may be picking up more than you bargain for.
Store bought cereals are often packed full of sugar and other not so healthy ingredients.
Making granola at home means you can add whatever you like in your granola or cereal. We like raisins and either walnuts or pecans.
From start to finish, it takes around 30 minutes to make, so, make a large batch and store it in a mason jar.
