Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sourdough Discard
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil or Melted Butter
  • 1 tbsp Honey or Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda

Instructions

  • Preheat your waffle iron to the manufacture's directions.
  • In a large bowl, combine the sourdough discard, eggs, oil, honey, and salt. Mix until completely combined.
  • Once the waffle maker is preheated, add in the baking soda and mix well.
  • Pour 1/3 cup of waffle batter into the waffle maker and cook to your specific waffle makers directions.

Notes

Store leftover waffles in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
Freeze in freezer safe bags for up to 3 months and reheat in a toaster or in a 300 degree F oven for 10-15 minutes.
